Organizes the annual golf tournament; activities include soliciting sponsorships, players, and prize donations. Proceeds from this event are used to provide scholarships to qualified college students pursuing careers in insurance.
Coordinates one or more philanthropy projects to provide community support. Where possible, this includes partnering with a local employer.
Maintains and updates members information; welcome and recognize new members; recruit and involve CPCU candidate members; conduct activity to improve meeting attendance; and conduct annual membership survey and design action plans to improve chapter member satisfaction with meetings and activities.
Encourage non-members within one part of completing their designation to become members of the FTW Chapter. Inform new designees of membership benefits. Invite new designees to monthly meetings and social events. Organize the chapter conferment ceremony.
Consists of immediate Past President and two other members. Presents a nomination for each elective office at a designated chapter business meeting. Other nominations may be made from the floor, and election shall be by a majority of the members present.
Organizes speakers and/or programs for monthly business meetings. Works with Education Chair to coordinate with educational events.
Promotes chapter visibility by publishing chapter and CPCU information in local media; and providing chapter event articles to the National Society for publication. Works with webmaster to post articles about events and activities on the Fort Worth Chapter website.
Maintains website for the chapter. Responsible for posting information regarding upcoming events, as well as information on events already held.
